For shoppers

Tracking your order

Your confirmation email has a View your order button. It opens your order page: the status, each parcel's tracking, your totals and the tax invoice. No account is needed, and the link works for a year.

TL;DR: Open the email Your order <number> from <store> and press View your order. The page shows where your order is, with tracking for each parcel. Keep the email: the link is the way back to your order.

Right after you pay

  • Checkout shows Thank you for your order! with your order number. For a bank transfer or a store's own payment method it shows Order received! and how to pay.
  • The email arrives once the payment is in. It comes from <store> <[email protected]>; a reply goes to the store. It lists the items, the totals, the delivery address, how you paid and the line that will show on your statement, and it carries the View your order button.
  • Did it not arrive? Check your spam folder, and the email address you typed at checkout. The store's Contact page reaches the store directly.

Your order page

Your order page needs no account. The link in the email works for a year.

It shows:

  • The status, as one of: Order placed · Paid, being prepared soon · Being prepared · On its way · Out for delivery today · Delivered · Cancelled · Refunded.
  • Tracking for each parcel: the carrier and tracking number or link, a booked delivery day when the carrier gave one, and a delivery photo when the driver took one.
  • Your items and totals, with the GST, and the delivery suburb (never your full street address, so the link is safe to forward).
  • Who sold it: the seller's name and ABN.
  • Download tax invoice, once the invoice has been issued.
  • Request a return — see Returns and refunds.

Emails along the way

  • When a parcel is on its way before the rest, you get an email with that parcel's tracking.
  • When the order has shipped, you get the tax invoice email with all tracking, or an Order shipped email with the tracking when no invoice applies.

Stores do not promise a delivery date unless your order page shows a booked delivery day. Delivery costs are settled before you pay, so nothing is added later.

What this means for you

Keep the confirmation email; its View your order link is your tracking page for a year, and the place to download the tax invoice or start a return. If the status has not moved for longer than the store's delivery policy says, reply to the email or use the store's Contact page.
