Add your domain under My Store → Domain, point one DNS record at BTAB — a CNAME on www is the one to use — and HTTPS is issued for you automatically.
How do I know if Google can see my store?
The Google visibility card on My Store → Domain shows whether your sitemap is registered, how many pages are indexed, and your clicks and impressions.
How do I verify my store in Google Search Console?
Only needed if you have a custom domain. Use Google's HTML tag method and paste the tag on My Store → Domain.

Does my store have a sitemap, and which pages are in it?
Every published store serves sitemap.xml and robots.txt automatically. Here's what's in them and what's deliberately kept out.
How do I add pages like FAQ or Shipping info to my store?
Customize → Pages → + New page. Pick Info/Policy, FAQ, Landing page or Blank, give it a title and address, and choose whether it appears in the header or footer menu.
