How do I get my products onto BTAB?
Add your products, make sure each has an image, and submit for review. Once BTAB approves them, vendors can sell them in their stores.
TL;DR: Add your products (CSV import or the product form), make sure each one has at least one image, and submit them for review. Once BTAB approves a product, vendors can add it to their stores and sell it.
Two ways to add products
You can get products into your catalog two ways:
- Import — upload a CSV and add your whole catalog at once. Best when you have many products. See How do I import my catalog from a CSV?.
- Product form — click Add Product to add items one at a time. Best for a handful of products or quick additions.
What each product needs
Every product needs two things before it can go live:
- Your price — the price you need to receive (your cost). On the product form this is the Factory Price field.
- At least one image — a product with no image is hidden from buyers even after it's approved. See How do I add images to my products?.
What happens after you submit
Your product moves through a few stages:
- Draft — you've added it, but it hasn't been submitted yet.
- Pending Review — you clicked Submit for Review and BTAB is looking at it.
- Approved — BTAB accepted it. Approved products appear in the catalog for vendors to add to their storefronts.
If something needs fixing, BTAB sends the product back as Rejected with a reason. That's normal — fix the issue and resubmit. See Why was my product rejected, and how do I fix it?.
