Bring your reviews, keep your links, handle returns in one place

Five updates for stores that are moving to BTAB, or have just moved: import your reviews from Shopify or Judge.me, choose each product's web address, describe your photos, give buyers a proper returns page, and a map of your store for AI assistants.

Moving a shop is mostly about what you'd lose: the reviews buyers trusted, the links Google already knows, the way returns were handled. This week's updates are about not losing them.

Your reviews come with you

In Sales → Reviews → Import reviews from your previous shop, upload the export from Judge.me or Shopify Product Reviews (or any CSV with a rating, a date and the text). Each review is matched to one of your products by SKU, then handle, then name. You see a preview before anything is saved, including every row that didn't match and why.

Imported reviews keep their original dates and count in your star rating. They're labelled Imported, never "Verified purchase", because they weren't bought here, and they show only on your store. You can import the same file twice without getting doubles, and undo an import in one click.

How do I bring my reviews from Shopify or Judge.me?

Product links you choose

Every product can now have its own web address, such as /products/oak-dining-chair instead of the default name plus a number. Set it under My Store → AI Content → Search engine listing. The old address keeps working and sends visitors, and Google, to the new one, so changing your mind costs nothing.

Photos that describe themselves

Each photo can have its own description (alt text): what screen readers read aloud and what Google Images indexes. Write them yourself in Edit Images → Describe photos, or press Suggest with AI, check the result, and save.

Returns with a real page behind them

Buyers can now ask for a return from the link in their order email: pick the items, give a reason, and add photos. Faulty, damaged, wrong and not-as-described items are always accepted, as Australian Consumer Law requires. Change-of-mind returns are your call: off, 14 days or 30 days, set in Sales → Returns.

A map for AI assistants

Shoppers increasingly ask an assistant instead of a search box. Every store now publishes /llms.txt, a short plain-text map of your products, categories, pages and policies, built from your live store. Hidden pages stay out, and if you've opted out of AI training, the file says so. There's nothing to set up.
