How and when am I paid?
Your Statement shows what BTAB owes you for every order, at your supplier price. Add a payout method so BTAB knows where to send it.
This guide is for suppliers. Not you? Store owner guides
TL;DR: BTAB pays you your supplier price for each item sold and not refunded. The Statement page shows what BTAB owes you, order by order. Add a Payout method so BTAB knows where to send the money. Automatic payouts are not running yet, so BTAB settles with you directly for now.
What you are paid
You are paid your supplier price (the price you entered on the product) for each item sold. Shops add their own margin on top, and BTAB adds its part. Neither ever comes out of your price.
On the Orders page, the Owed to you amount on each order is your supplier price times the quantity. Buyer totals, platform fees and shop margins are not shown to you.
Read your Statement
Open Statement in the menu. At the top:
- Owed to you: booked to you and not yet paid.
- Paid: already sent to you.
- Reversed: the order was cancelled or refunded, so that amount is no longer owed.
- Settled orders: how many orders have money booked to you.
Each line has a status: Pending, On hold, Paid or Reversed. Open a line to see the products, quantities and amounts in that order.
Payments received lists each transfer BTAB has made to you, with its bank reference and the orders it covers.
If BTAB bought stock from you upfront, you were paid when BTAB bought it. When that stock later sells, the line shows Paid at purchase (stock bought upfront), and no second transfer is due.
When you are paid
The Payout schedule on the Statement page shows how BTAB pays you. Today it says Settled manually by BTAB: automatic payouts are not running yet, and BTAB settles with you directly. When automatic payouts start, the schedule will show how often runs happen.
Add your payout method
- Open Statement, then Add payout method.
- Choose Australian bank transfer, PayPal, WeChat Pay or Other.
- Enter the Account name and Account details, then Save payout method.
Your account details are stored securely, and only the last 4 characters are shown back to you. Saving a payout method does not trigger a payment. It makes sure you can be paid as soon as payouts start.
